In the early 1911`s, Tercilio Zoccola, a qualified textile technician, left Lessona, in the Italian Piedmont, hired by the “La Emilia”, company located in the town that later receives its name, in San Nicolás, province of Buenos Aires. One of the most important textiles of that time.
In 1916, due to the social mobilization and the growth of the textile industries, he decides to leave La Emilia and found his own company.
For that purpose, he chose Paso del Rey, Moreno, Province of Buenos Aires. He bought an old mill on the banks of the Reconquista river, intending to use the energy water generated to move his machinery, founding the fabric “La Industrial” of Zoccola, Gonzalez &Cia.

After Tercilio`s death, his sons Carlos and Oscar took his place.

The company grew through the years and soon had, in Moreno , 4 fabrics producing different types of textiles derived of wool, such as threads, fabrics, felt, etc holding about 700 employees.

In 1979 after a reorganization of the shareholders, the company acquires a new building in Dastugue St. and moves the industrial plant.

Through the years, the company adapted to the new ruling standards of the textile industry.
Consecutive replacement of the machinery went modernizing the plant and keeping the fabric competitive.
Today, all the machinery of German, Belgian and Italian origin, allows high quality standards and operative efficiency.
